Beekeeping Sessions are closed for the 2019 season. See you Spring 2020!
Once you sign up for our Beekeeping Session, our beekeeper will contact you to not only schedule your session, but design a program that best fits your needs. A completed liability waiver will be required before the session begins. This waiver will be emailed to you, as well as additional information to prepare you for your experience.
Your Beekeeping Session will include:
- Introduction to Honey Bees & Beekeeping
- Viewing of Hives (Observation Hive or Hive Inspection)
- A Photo Opportunity
- Question/Answer Session
- A Beginning Beekeeper Equipment List
- A Recommended Resource List
- A Pollinator Friendly Plant List
We believe that one-on-one or small group instruction (2-6 individuals) is most beneficial for learning. Children are welcome, age 8+, unless other arrangements have been made with the beekeeper. Each session will last approximately 1.5-2 hours. Additional sessions may be scheduled, to continue your beekeeping journey.
Scheduling: To schedule an educational experience, visit our Contact Us page. Please leave your name, contact information and the Educational Experience/s you are interested in. Our beekeeper will contact you with all of the exciting details.
