Hive Tours

Have you ever wondered what it looks like inside a beehive? Maybe you are looking for a fun educational experience for the whole family? Indigo Acres Apiary has programming geared for all. Explore our Educational Sessions and discover which experience is right for you!

Our Hive Tour allows you to suit up, in the safety of our provided bee suits, and enjoy the humming of thousands of honey bees, up close and personal. While exploring the inside of a hive, you will learn about the exciting life of the honey bee colony, while surrounded by bees and blooms.

A completed liability waiver will be required, before your session begins. This waiver will be e-mailed to you, as well as additional information to prepare you for this amazing experience.

“Indigo Acres Apiary is a blessing to whomever visits. I was there a week ago today and I’ve never experienced such a beautiful and informative day. I felt like I was sitting in the Garden of Eden, with all the gorgeous flowers planted for the bees. It was a wondrous day! Thank you for quitting your day job to follow your passion and to share your expertise. Your honey is absolutely the BEST!” ~Sandy Angel
