A honey bee colony goes through many transitions, throughout the seasons. The top photo was taken in late summer.🌞There is a large capped honey arch (top), with a small amount of brood (eggs, larvae, pupae) in the center. Below is a photo of the same frame, taken about 6 weeks later.🍂 As the queen slows down laying for the season, the brood space is replaced with honey stores.🍯 🐝Note: This 2019 colony was treated with BeeStrong from @beevitalcom in the spring and fall.🐝 . . . #beevitalambassador #beestrongeffect #beevitalcom What a beauty!👑🐝 Now that the bees are tucked in tight, I can spend time planning for next season. It’s been a day of brush hogging, chain sawing and removing shrub for next year’s apiary expansion.
