And for a little laugh...😉🤣 LET’S TALK HERBS! Herbs are one of my favorite choices when planting for our bees and other local pollinators.🐝 Herbs have a beautiful fragrance and are easy to grow. Many varieties also have compound flowers. Loads of tiny blooms allow pollinators to save energy by foraging a large number of flowers in a small space. My dad always said, “Work smarter, not harder!”😉 🌸Here are some of my favorite pollinator friendly herbs: •basil •bee balm •borage •catmint •chives •dill •hyssop •lavender •mint •nasturtium •oregano •thyme 🐝💚🌸 Note: All of the herbs photographed (hyssop, borage, garlic chives and common chives) started from @botanical_interests seeds. 🌱 I am often asked, “What is your favorite part about being a beekeeper?” My response...EVERYTHING! 🥰 My days are filled with all of my favorite things: painting, gardening, nature, sunshine, and sweet bees.
